About the Fedelcode model 20..

Sat Jul 14, 2018 4:23 am

Are there any pictures of these things with the housing off or any brochures with it featured?

Where are all of the current/previous locations of this siren?

Any other info would be appreciated. Thanks

I have an advert for the “Model 20”. It just states it as the ‘new Fedelcode siren’

Mt Union, PA. Dave Fritz (Rheems1) heard this in person and said it could have been the loudest siren he's ever heard. There's an STH-10 right down the street from it too.

Wow, that's an oddball. I'd love to hear what it sounds like. Anyone know the port ratio? It looks like it's 9/12 port.
I have an unhealthy obsession with mini sirens.

Not so sure that's a Model 20. I know it has been rumored to be a B&N of sort as well. I don't live too far from it so maybe sometime I'll go check it out.

It would definitely be nice to learn more about these sirens. I don't think there are any sources confirming that they're even called the Model 20. The only Model 20 I've seen is the fat Model 7 looking siren in an old ad. (Not sure if anyone here has it.) The dual-headed models seem to come in a whole bunch of different shapes and sizes. Type "Fedelcode Model 20" into Google images and there are pictures of like five or more different versions.

It is definitely a model 20. That looks exactly like the farmland siren that blew over some 15 years ago. B&M never made a dual head vertical siren. All of their vertical sirens were single head and from what I understand they were extremely small for a full sized siren.

The actually name for this dual head Fedelcode cannot be Model 20. The Model 20 was a larger Model 5 according to a advertisement. There is an example of an actual Model 20 in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
