The siren is single tone by the sounds of it. I hear no other tone bar what an 8 port siren should sound like. Plus there's only one opening for sound to come out of: the middle.Darley Champion wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 9:14 pmWhat an oddball stacking of shrouds on this one... Possibly a model 7/5[T] I mean that kinda looks like it is but the sound is really (x1000) not right... 9:12 rotor maybe?
By the way, the way it sounds is outright creepy, and belive me I'm a used one when it comes to creepy sounding sirens (literally)
Huh? If that so, but anyways at one moment it sounded like it was 9:12 (given it might be running on a VF drive as you pointed it out), I've never heard a siren running on a VF drive aside this one so...Chem_Boffin_6589 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 07, 2018 5:10 pmThe siren is single tone by the sounds of it. There's an 8 port Model 7 that's running off one. In fact they've programmed th VFD to do attack signal as well so all of it is really stepped. What I don't understand is why they use the variable frequency to drive the siren when the motor's meant to be off.Darley Champion wrote: ↑Sat Sep 08, 2018 8:06 amHuh?
