It's a new photo. That siren was not present back in 2017.

Regardless of when it was installed or taken down... or reinstalled, I'm just super excited/happy that a news article finally used siren model names, and the correct ones too, not just "tornado sirens."

Pulled up a few YT videos of this taking place and it seems as if there are speakers installed at the siren towers to play the music.

7:54 mark on this video you can see the speaker below the siren.

Yeah, the SD-10 in the article is gutted too. It's just the housing.
