Sentry question

Hello I am new to this board I just created an account not to long ago and I've been thinking about making an account for quite some time, anyway I have a question about some of Sentry's sirens here is the question is there any visual difference between the 15v1t, 15v2t, 16v1t, 20v2t and the 20v1t? they look exactly the same

You could group them according to horsepower. Each series will have the same amount of horns regardless of shopper/stator configuration.

All of them have 8 horns on top and 8 horns on the bottom:

Because of how new these are there usually is a name on the motor in the middle saying whether it's a 20V2T or a 16V1T etc.
Depending on how old you want to go some 20V2(and 1)Ts have mush chorter motor cores as they run off a single motor whereas the new ones run off of two. See the picture of a new 20V and then watch a few videos of older ones.

This is where the 1 and 2 in the 20V1T (or 15 or 16 or 10 or 40) comes from. 1 for single tone and 2 for dual.

They are all the same siren with different motor options. As Chem_Boffin_6589 most of them have labeling on the head that tells you what model it is. Besides the labeling physically the 16V is the easiest to spot, because they have a big red battery box installed on the pole. As far as the 15V and 20V go I think they look the same. The 3 phase models use a single dual shaft 15 and 20 HP motor respectively, while the single phase ones use dual 7.5 and 10 HP motors. Looking at videos of 3 phase 15V's and 20V's I can't spot any difference in the height of the sirens, so without the labeling or sight of the tag with the siren's info on the motor housing it'll be next to impossible to tell the two apart. The single phase and DC ones are naturally taller to compensate for having two motors, with the single phase 15 and 20V's being a little taller than 16V's due to the size of the motors. The visual difference between the single and dual tone models is the port count inside the horns. With dual tone units one chopper will have 16 ports, 2 ports per horn. The 15, 16, and 20V come in single and dual tone.
