Napoleon, Ohio has a Thunderbolt 1000T and a Sentry 7V8 right along the highway, albiet on different sides of the highway. I believe they can be seen in the Behind The Scenes 'The Adventures of Bill and His Groomsmen'

Saw this ASC T-128 in Trumbull County, OH today. In fact it's the first 128 I've ever seen in person

I also spotted an FS 2001 right off the Lordstown exit by the car factory, that as can be seen in old street view imagery, replaced an EOWS 612.

I live in the region, but am moving down to the other part of the state in a few days as my dad got a new job; here’s some info:

That T-128 is in Newton Falls. It’s part of the county controlled system which is comprised of 24 ASC T-128’s and one ASC T-121. They’re controlled by Trumbull County and are tested on the First Saturday of every month at noon. Werden helped install these T-128’s back in 2008, they are AC/DC. I’ve filmed one of their T-128’s before, was the first to get a recording of one of their T-128’s.

Trumbull County is a bit odd in that there’s the county controlled system and then the independent ones. Those would be Lordstown, Niles, Girard, and Warren, which each operate their own systems independently.

The one you’re talking about is the one near the now closed GM Lordstown plant. Their 5 2001-130’s were installed last year (in 2018) and replaced all 5 EOWS-612’s, which were tested every Saturday at noon and did chimes.

Not sure what the 130’s do nor will I be able to find out, but I’m assuming they do a short test or possibly a growl/rotation test or something like that given the old sirens did a short chime test. Per PD the 130’s are still tested weekly, every Saturday at noon.

Thank you for all the info!

I'm not from the area but will be heading through more often because my younger sister is an incoming freshman at Baldwin Wallace in Berea. I found a couple 2001 sirens near Berea and am looking for more information about that area's sirens if you have any or know someone who can share.

Those are Brook Park's 2001-130's, those don't work, well only the one at the fire station on Holland Rd. works. They do a growl/rotation test every Saturday at noon, and do an alert/attack test monthly on the first Saturday of every month at noon. My Cuyahoga County Siren Map (with all the sirens in the county, plus those that are active and inactive are on that map. You can go directly to the map by clicking the link in my signature.

Thanks again!

Just a side note, since I always look back in older street view imagery, it looks like the Holland Road siren replaced an EOWS 612.

Yes, they all replaced EOWS-612's back in 2008.

3T22 along I-76 just outside of Brush, Colorado. Probably belongs on the lowest mounted thread as well. https://goo.gl/maps/JRtbckv64FmhQskt8
