I apologize in advance if this question has been answered already, but I have a Banshee 115 at a fire station with an ACA controller and someone has removed the voltage control relay and replaced it with a "standard" open frame relay. As such, the start caps never engage and the siren takes far too long to spin up. The in-rush on start-up is around 240 amps, which is not horrible, but it takes the better part of 15 seconds before the current stabilizes at 65 amps. Furthermore, the contactor never closes, especially on start-up as it should. The million-dollar question is, what is the correct part that I should have there, more specifically what part number? I really appreciate everyone's time and I hope I am not repeating a question already asked! Thanks for any advice!
