If I recall correctly, a newspaper article does list a siren being there, so possibly it is a former siren site? If so, then it is likely either a former SD-10 or Model 5T site, given the other sirens in the area.

In my opinion, that looks like a hacked up 3.

These are some kind of speakers in Marion, OH, which I discovered when I went there recently. Does anyone know the make, model, or purpose of these? They are everywhere in downtown Marion.

Interesting, I clicked around to a few of the other intersections and they're everywhere. Public address of some sort?

I am guessing they are probably used for when there are road emergencies or something like that. Other than those, Marion OH mostly consists of Whelen WPS-4004's either having digital ESC-864's and ESC-2030's (possibly ESC-2020's)

I think they may have something to do with the city building dowtown since they all seem to be pointing towards it. I don't think that they have anything to do with weather since a few are right next to the roof-mounted WPS-4004 downtown.
