Valley Springs SD Sirens

Wed Oct 14, 2020 7:49 am

I can't believe I forgot to post these
These are in the spirit of Halloween

The First video is the East Thunderbolt 1003 I think the motors on the blower and rotator are bad or something else cause as you can see, niether engage. I do not know if the city is planning on repairing it.

The Second video is the Valley Springs 130 which is as punchy as ever going for a full 3 minute alert cycle

I personally believe that when the east unit fully dies they will simply shut it down and leave it to rot.

On a sub-note Blue Valley Public Safety LLC has all of Minnehaha County under contract and has Sioux Falls under contract

Will they replace the T-Bolt? Or are they sort of phasing out sirens?

I think that when east unit dies they will simply shut it down and let the 130 do the warning of tornados
