You can barely see a chopper... chopper.png
Could just be shadows, I really can't tell if its a chopper, and in almost every siren the motor would be on the bottom of the chopper.

And the dome would make the chopper ineffective because it has barely any room for air intake and sound.

Pneumatic sirens also have holes.
I don't own any sirens.

I am from South Florida.

Many German sirens have both the motor and the intake on the bottom, which is how they are able to have a dome on top without choking out the siren.

From this angle you can see what looks like a motor on the bottom.

Does anyone know their phone number? Hopefully, someone can call them.

Oh, and for all of your information, I'm sure this has been posted before.
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.

I guess this technically isn't a mystery because I'm pretty sure it's a Mod, but does anyone know why the siren in this video: youtube.com/watch?v=P5a1EkuZyR8
does this strange custom Hi-Lo? It's supposed to be a nuke attack tone but elsewhere statewide they use wail.

...please just leave them alone. I'm sure they don't want a bunch of enthusiasts hounding them about their siren.

You bring up a good point. Firefighters have more important things to do. Only one person has to make a quick 30 second call.

Also, use the non emergency number for non emergencies. I had a questions about storing oxyacetylene bottles and got to use my local non emergency number.

Remember, professionals have standards. Be polite be efficient and most importantly respect the time of others.

Can we all be (or at least act like) adults and get back on topic, please?

Thank you to Synther for being a voice of reason.

I don't think this is a Sterling M-3. The intake seems too large. Possibly Hedberg?
