Thanks for the thread! I had a misconception of certain Sterling sirens for quite some time. I believe I fixed the names; however, if I had improperly branded it and/or named it, please point it out.
Don't cite that thread for any proper Sterling terminology, it goes against every piece of literature and siren name tags that have ever been documented. That guy, while informative, was a piece of work, and while I don't doubt he worked for Sterling, time has a way of manipulating memories. Horizontal Sterlings are known as Model Ms.

Got it in, thanks. I believe it is a 14V judging from what I see.

It's a 10V. Here's a picture of it that someone inexplicably attached to a place marker for "Weight Watchers"

Architecture preservationist. I enjoy obscure history and mapping things, and grew up around sirens. Not planning to own one.

That's most definitely a 10V
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.

Thanks Jason, I got the location in. In addition, I was able to find the last Surry siren in Governors Land and a few sirens hiding out in rural areas.

For what I think it is worth, I believe your siren in Doe Hill is a Sterling Little Giant. To my eyes at least, the shape and size seem to be a dead on match to a little giant as opposed to a B. The mystery siren in Covington I believe is actually a light, however do not quote me on this.
24, and not dead yet.

Now that you point it out, it seems even for it to be a Sterling Little Giant. Thanks!
