The Federal Signal system was phased out with newer Alertus sirens in 2018. There isn't any proper recording of the Alertus sirens yet, so it'd be interesting seeing what VCU's cycle is now.championsiren wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 2:22 pmWhat the hell happened to VCU's system? I just checked and it says that they're all inactive. I was planning on going down there one day to get a test...
Are they in the same spots as the federals?Bijay wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 12:24 amThe Federal Signal system was phased out with newer Alertus sirens in 2018. Only 2 from what I know. VCU says that they have 3 sirens around the building, but I haven't found them yet.
How ironic, I went to the same event and posted about it on the previous page.3T22_Fan1000 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 11:58 pmAll sirens in Clarke County test. Went to Berryville for a siren test. Multiple tones were going so im assuming that is activations for the rest of the sirens in Clarke County. Berryville also still tests.
Also the siren in Berryville was shutoff when I went there because of a local fd farmers market going on.
