That's gotta be a junction box.

Ah, that makes sense. I will check it out again sometime to confirm this.

I concur, specifically it's for the stator's de-icing heater element, if you look a bit closer you can see a outer ring that connects to the junction box, that's the heater in question.

Purton PSD, Swindon. Whelen WPS2903

Seems like most Exolum/CLH pipeline sites use Whelen equipment. Sandy PSD has its 2903 and there’s a 2909(?) at Aldermaston.

I noticed that the Carlisle siren isn’t on the map yet despite there being two updates since I posted about it. Just thought I’d notify someone.

Not sure who has access or does updates because the Whelen I contributed has been added. Anyone able to give access?

Isn't there a 2001-130 somewhere in the UK?

I believe that there are two, both of which are already mapped. I think that they are located in Liverpool and Manchester.

According to a couple of people I talked to, there was at some point a Thunderbolt in the UK. Anyone know anything?

I’ve heard about this. Off the top of my head, it was located atop a factory somewhere and used as some sort of plant warning alarm. It was said to be depicted in photos that cannot be found anymore, and that it was removed in the 90s. I want to say the factory was located in South Wales but don’t take my word for it.
