An STH-10 is NOT a model L, The windup will be long. The model 5 seems to have pretty close to the same windup to me. STH-10's are very well known for their extremely long wind up and wind down. This is just normal for these sirens. Sure, they might take a little longer than a Model 2 or a Thunderbolt (Rotating Model 2t) but it's normal for a siren of this size
By the way, you should probably remove the abbreviated words like 2 and Y.
