Not my video, first off...but listen to the recording that ATI chose to use for this siren! I guess we can say we've heard it in real life now, along with half the movies in Hollywood...

I wouldn't believe that this person is a forum member, but if they are, I do hope they find this thread. Norcross is certainly interesting these days...MattDean1003 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 11:54 pmHere is another, with the sound sped up, but it's the 3 cycle recording we've all heard on here.

ATI's controllers are actually capable of producing a number of custom tones natively, but they have to be requested. They have to be programmed to do it, and given this situation, I assume that would have to be done at the factory. I'm not too sure if the dealerships/vendors have the equipment to do it . Whoever installed this ATI system changed the recording for tests at the request of the city. They were using the Westminster chimes with voice when they went up.Randomizer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 8:15 pmATI sirens, at least from the limited documentation I've seen, are little more than Raspberry Pis (or something equivalent) mated to an amplifier board. Its little wonder so many of them just play things back.
