Earlier this month, a few other enthusiasts and I ventured into the Montgomery, Alabama area to go on a recording spree. 2 of the counties we were going to record in first decided not to test on account of Mother Nature being in her Pandora's Box arc, so we all went to siren #3 which was this T-128. I recorded this back in 2015 with my grandfather when it was still healthy. It's not doing too well... besides the low pitch for the batteries about to kick the can, it was making some grinding and squealing noises as it ran.
This is one of Macon County's sirens. The system consists of this siren, a couple of 3rd gen 2001-SRNs, and at least one 508 that was installed within the last few years.
