Possible model 7?

Fri Nov 08, 2024 3:35 am

When I went siren hunting a while ago, I found this siren at the Maugansville fire co. Looks like either a Model 2 or 7 to me that's modified to have horns on its housing.
Here's the google maps street view for it: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Mauga ... FQAw%3D%3D

3T22_Fan1000's map (available here) confirms it's a Model 7 with a modified housing. Given excessive guy wires and fresh-looking pole, I wonder if it fell somewhat recently.

If you go back in time on streetview, the pole still looks pretty clean and the wires were there back then. I think the fire department just takes care of the siren pretty well unlike the others and cleans off the pole and housing often.
