Weird cylinder thing

Here’s a weird siren I found on google maps and I was wondering if you guys could help

I'm a siren enthusiast but I also collect electric fans. I’m working on a map for sirens in NE and hope to post it here someday

Now I have 8 small sirens, and 58 electric fans :D :D

I might be wrong but it looks like a model 7 without a rainshield or louvers.

Maybe but who really knows. I can’t remember where I saw this thing so I may have to find that sometime

Can confirm this is a Model 2 next to the ocean which explains the deterioration.

Never heard a siren in person before. every time I go to record one it fails. Owner of the most scratchy sounding mini sd-10 (missing ports on stator).
