I've heard a few locals talking about a siren which was once located at the bakery at 54.87862819283099, -2.963233171137506. The coordinates point to what may have been a small plinth where the siren pole was mounted. No trace of the siren itself remains.

Also, whoever's in charge of the UK Siren Map at the moment has marked all of the sirens at Ellesmere Port as Klaxon ES sirens. It only takes one look at them to notice that they differ greatly from the ES design and are clearly NOT ES sirens.
These are Klaxon ES sirens as Klaxon did sell their ES' with Sircom horns at one point with their controllers. and even before that, the Klaxon ES was a rebranded Tesla UEAJ Siren. look on the Wayback Machine and you'll see what i mean :D

to save time, here is the link to the Klaxon PDF in 2006 showing the 'ES' Siren

and here is the tesla 'ES' siren on the PDF in 2003

Fun Fact, there is a Solvay site in Warrington using a Tesla UEAJ siren which is probably one of the branded klaxon ones as seen here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Solva ... FQAw%3D%3D

Thanks for sending me this. I was made aware of my mistake a few days after I made my initial post, so I would like to apologise for it.

Got a mystery siren here, was looking online and saw that there is a siren near Saltcoats, at a plant call Chemring Energetics. Reports say that it sounded like a WW2 siren, so could be anything such as a Carter (or something newer and similar sounding like a Klaxon/Secomak GP) and is a plant warning siren. Not been able to see anything from streetview, which is rather outdated being from 2011. I'll link the news article and location, if anyone has any ideas as to where and what it is, feel free to add on.
P.S. The siren in the photo on the news article is not the one it is talking about, I'm actually pretty sure that's the one in Altrincham that's got a listed status

I just want to say a HUGE thanks for making this map. I've discovered some sirens near me that I've driven by and never noticed!

Also, I heard a siren while writing this! So I had to pause to film it. Sounds like one of those smaller Klaxons... (Mono, MasterBlaster, Duplo etc.)
On a mission to get myself a siren. Anything will do.

P.S. I've been diagnosed with a serious addiction to choccy milk.

England was supposed to have a nationwide HLS system, consisting of 2000 Pintsch Bamag sirens. There were two test locations, not sure if you would want to include it in this map. Here is a very interesting read about the whole plan!
