My concept of how a coded hurricane works.

Now I actually have time to explain how this works. It is like a thunderbolt in a way. A solenoid pushes a metal slab over the stator hole for one tone. The solenoids are concealed inside the chopper tube instead of two bulky boxes that are visible. The siren depicted in my sketch is the rolling meadows il hurricane. Probably one of the first sketches of the inside of one of these coded beasts.
