Sat Apr 05, 2025 5:19 pm

Good day all, I have a new siren a vixen horns 12v VX4006 siren that I have mounted and wired but the switch gets the power and the siren won’t activate. according to the manual I grounded the siren correctly and I can’t get power back to the battery to complete the circuit. Could anyone help?

yes I will send some later! also the wiring issue has been resolved but I do have some bad rotor imbalance and I'm worried about it breaking the fins (plastic).

Ok then, you do have a 3d printer right? So you should be able to make a new chopper if yours brakes.

sorry for the long wait but I have some images here. I finally got the siren working and it works great! I mounted it to my bumper and used a 12 toggle switch for the controls.

Nice!

I had a siren under the hood of my '91 Camaro convertible.

I took it back out when I sold it but left the pull switch in the dashboard so people could scratch their heads about it.

Stupid, stupid thing it was to sell that car when I got something more sensible for city driving. I was poor with no place to store a second vehicle back then but I should have found a way.

no worries, I have spoken with officers, city officials, the fire departments in my area, and they are all fine with it.
