This is one of only two 1000s I know of in Wichita. It came from Amarillo, TX if I remember right. The guy who trucked the siren all the way up there gets to maintain and tweak the siren all he wants. I talked to him while I was up at the siren (it's in the back lot of the WATC Grove Campus) and he has a 1003, Model 5 and a Model 7 sitting in his garage.
