My school shelton state has a federal 2001 on campus.
The University of alabama has a p-15 and a banshee on campus.
UAB has two new 2902's on campus, those sprang up after vt, and the city of birmingham has a 2001 on the next street :)

At my school, Olivet Nazarene Univ., we are in the process of installing a system that sends out mass text messages to students. We have a TBolt 1003 on campus but it's only used by the city.

In the future, we're going to replace the 1003 with either a Modulator or an iForce, depending on whoever impresses the Public Safety guy more, which will be equally controlled by the city and the campus. The city will be able to use activate the alert and attack tones and the campus will be able to activate a campus emergency tone and voice messages. What we are hoping is that we can pay for all the new equipment through a grant we are currently writing up. We are also working on using the speakers in the phones to announce emergencies and instructions and stuff. Also, we are going to put in an integrated access control system on each of the dorms that also uses camera. What we are intending this system to do is be able to monitor who goes in what building by both card swipe and camera if the situation becomes suspicious.
