Seems that the 2008 PDF of the siren coverage for Johnson county Kansas is up now. It can be viewed here: I'm going through Google maps and using TrafficView to pinpoint sirens here and there. I am just a bit discouraged to record sirens in this county now since much of them are being updated to the 2001 series.
Here's a little list of some that I have mapped so far. If you want to waste some time checking out these links, have at it. Much of the ones that are not labeled are 2001's.

can't miss this one (EOWS): link

link - In a flood plain. If you ask me, this sirens coverage range is highly reduced.
link - Just north of the siren above. not even more than half a mile.

link - Nice placing of a siren [2001], no?:P

Found this little gem: link - 2t22, if I am not mistaken.
link - Box of thunderbolt? Quality is too low to be able to tell. Will try to later on this year to snap a picture of it. Took a while to find on Google Streetview, so I am sure it might be a bugger to find during the summer when all the trees have bloomed out.
link - Looking at the old power lines there, I'm pretty sure there was a xt22 type siren series there.

link - Nice and snug next to the houses.
Apparently according to the 2008 siren map, there is a siren here: link - guessing they are going for the silent effect on this? :p Westwood Hills is where this siren is apparently at. W1 is its name on the map at top right. Looked all over with StreetView, all i could find in that relative area was that pole which would be the pinpoint of that W1 dot.
