"Measurements"

Thu May 29, 2008 3:31 pm

Could it be possible if any one can get the measurements of the following on a thunderbolt?

1. Rotators housing.
2. Blower housing.
3. rcm3 control box.
4. And other things like that.

It will help a lot. Thanks!!

Here's the measurements I got from my 1003 (which pretty much match up to the ones given in the manual):

(L x W x H)
Rotator: 22" x 15" x 36"
Blower: 56" x 33" x 30"
RCM-1/RCM-3: 27" x 19" x 9"
Horn: 55" x 28" x 28"
Solenoid Assy.("Bowtie" for 1003): 24" x 5" x 4.5"

Let me know if you need any more measurements! :)

Yes, that was including the chopper height with the rotator box height. I also forgot to put on there that the chopper is also about 10" in diameter.

I am still confused about the rotator box's measurements.

What are the measurements of the 4 lines on the picture below.

There are two different measurements for the 1000 and 1003 models. The manual also has the measurements.

The rotator box for the 1003 is 3" taller than the 1000/T one. :)

Hope that helps!

well the reason i am asking is that i am trying to make a model of a thunderbolt 1000 or 1000T. and the manual has the measurements including the chopper housing and i am only wanting the height of the rotator box.

1 is 24"
2 is 13"
3 is 12"
4 is 14"
These are 1000 box measurements.

Ohhhh. My Karma came down another point. Whoopie!
It's down to 12 now. Maybe this post will get it down another notch.

Like a HO scale one? If so I would pay handsomely for one. I would do it myself, however me and really tiny things don't get along.
