That 2001 is kind of low but the only I know of beating the lowest mounted siren is digging a hole bigger then the siren but not covering it up.

You could touch it at that height! How are they expecting to get the coverage across? That is one very low siren.

IIRC, that looks like the non-rotating Siratone 612 used to warn people on lake Harris (near Raleigh, NC) for nuclear disasters and flood.

This 2001 SRNB replaced a 3T22 that was totaled after the Northwood tornado a couple years ago. When you get up close, you come to appreciate the size of a 2001!

That is a GCS Model 5. Another Federal under a custom housing.

Odd, casue I know Arkansas City and Winfield to have some Federal sirens. Never seen any whelens.
