Newark is predominantly Thunderbeam with a mix of a couple other sirens
Well, in Hillsboro, OR I have spotted what may be some Thunderbeams on the Jail. There is two of them though.

We had one in Hamilton County, OH by Amelia. It burnt up after sounding for 30 minutes during a Tornado warning and was replaced by a Thunderbolt. It was a single phase model and my understanding is that the relay was stuck open allowing the siren to keep sounding.

Newark, OH should still have their Thunderbeams up. They ended up suing Federal for the Thunderbeams not putting out an optimal sound input.

I'm just saying that this thread was made almost 16 years ago, and you aren't really supposed to disturb threads over 10 years old.

Waverly, MI has a system made up of Thunderbeams, with some 2001s being added for spacing. There's even one that's mounted almost 40 feet in the air on a large building!
