Wish me luck! (30.8.2006)

Mon Aug 28, 2006 3:52 pm

OK,

Going all the way to Essex on Wednesday to record what is hopefully a Carters siren! It is part of the Essex Flood warning plan, there is a band of sirens along the coast and flood prone areas.
The test will include 5, 30 second blasts, with a 15 second pause, and will last around 4-5 minutes.
I will upload it on Youtube once I get back and get it converted.
I am hoping it is a Carters model, if not it will most likely be a Castle Castings model, another common make in the UK.
The tone has been known to sound identicle to Carters WWII tone, so not all is lost!
Wish me luck!

Dan.
