Calhan tests their Federal 550-AT siren Once Annually, first Friday in May at 7:00PM. Test is postponed if cloudy that day. Test protocol is: three one minute activations. Allow to wind totally down and then go into three-minute Alert.

My siren out at the Paint Mines is tested once a month on the second Monday between noon and 4 PM if weather permits, otherwise, it is Silent Tested.
Same goes for my other one at home, in Calhan, it is Always silent tested, except for on test day, then its activated along with the town's siren.
Still close enough to a Fed Sig 550AT to drive out on test day: First Friday in May - 7PM!
As of April 15 2010, a certified NWS Skywarn Spotter.

Milan Indiana - anytime they want.

I've noticed for the most part they test on Saturdays (no set time), but they've also tested on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. They just replaced their old Sentry with what to me looked like a FS Eclipse 8. I didn't get a good look at it whenI was out there last, but will get pictures when I go out next :)

Where is the siren out in Milan? I'm not real familiar with southeastern Indiana, but at some point I want to go out to St. Leon to take a picture of their xt22, and might be willing to make a trip out to Milan to see what they've got.

Just post the name of the area and when they test their sirens, along with any other info that we might find useful (such as if they only test during specific months or if the test will get canceled due to a few clouds in the sky...).

Here's what I've got:

Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren Counties in Ohio: First Wednesday of the month at noon
Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties in Kentucky: First Wednesday at noon

Kettering, Ohio: First Monday at noon
Oakwood, Ohio: First Wednesday at noon (only one siren - ASC T-128 at 30 Park Avenue)
Any clue as to when Moraine in Montgomery county tests? Monday would be perfect for me as I am off on Mondays. I'm wanting to get the Tbolt and T-128 together. I'm dying to find out what they sound like that close together. :D
