Man, I never knew the 612s could make a sound like that. That would freak me out even more than the creepy dual tone alert sound.

A shame that Federal doesn't make them any more, though I wonder if the Modulators with the Ultra Voice controller decks on them can make this whooping sound?

Yeah, in the Siratone manuals the 'Temporal' tone (whoop) was listed as an auxiliary tone that was a plug-in module to the control board.

Oh, wow.

It will either not have one or most likely be a Westminster. I guess you found the Siratone manual that Charlie posted, look at the PCB layout. There's a pin header for an auxiliary tone somewhere.
