Manhattan, KS has some Whelens that do the "Gas Proof Protection" signal in case of a dam failure. I need to very soon get out there and get a video, as they might be taking them down soon as work on the dam gets completed.

That wavering sound is the tone used in Denmark for civil defense, but the two-blast attack signal is closer to the German three-blast attack for "ABC alarm" (Atomic, Biological, Chemical). I didn't know any American cities used signals like this.
