Alright here we go, I got her all painted up. I spent some time on her on a nice day in mid March in the 60's, wich is rare this early. I had all new laminated vinyl decals made so they can hold up better in the outdoor extremes. I still have to wire her up, put the screen back on her grease it and change the oils. The cabinet on the right is the timer and the one on the left is the RCM1. I think she came out good over all.

I never had pics go side to side before. I must have done something different.

Great job on repainting the Thunderbolt. Decals look nice, too.

Completely Repainted

After I looked at it the next day when all the paint dryed I couldn't believe how good the paint job come out. I put one base coat on everything, then a nice heavy final coat. Not including the control boxes it took me about 3 hours. I took my time to make sure I covered everything. I thought about doing it safty yellow, but the more I thought about it, I thought schoolbus yellow would really look nice. The only place I could find it was Ace Hardware. I special ordered 2 cases of spray cans and there were 6 cans in each case. Boy was I right the next day, thats when knew I had the perfect color to my liking.

I just had a local sign and lettering place make them. They are laminated vinyl so they can stand up to different weather environments.
