Yeah, I'm aware that's him. This is an interesting find. How would this thing rotate when activated, if it's broken?

Well, if only the outer 'large' gear is stripped of a few teeth, the 'small' drive gear would grip and spin the siren around until it hits the stripped point, where it would 'slip'.
