Carters siren at the Brooklands Museum

Tue Oct 17, 2006 8:48 pm

Hi there,

The Brooklands Museum is in Surrey about 20 miles SW of London. It's a really good museum and well worth a visit for anyone in the area (I know it's a long way for most people on the forum!). Briefly, Brooklands is the site of the first purpose-built motor racing track in the world and there are plenty of classic cars (both road and racing), and it was an aircraft factory so there are plenty of aircraft exhibits, including a Concorde.

And there's also this...
