My experience with many things is that a pig's breakfast like what you guys saw is a fault of the system. When I get bollocks-up service from a business, it's usually because nobody trained the poor chump they threw out there naked. This bid was set up to fail. Glad it came out the right way.

That's a riot. I wouldn't take lessons on integrity from Federal. They need to move on. Lord knows they won't fail to continue making money screwing cities over with their sub-par sirens.

I'm not a Federal lover or a ASC hater but, hasn't this gone on long enough? You guys seem to be making a useless farce out of this. You guys will say Federal signal is crap, talk about how poorly built their sirens are, but then turn around and say stuff like "The thunderbolt siren is the best ever built." If Hamilton county goes with Federal, so be it.

Looks like Federal is p*ssed now that they are in ASC and Clay T Werden's old boat. Except they were beaten fair and square.

It's a damn shame, but don't be surprised if Federal is able to get a court order against this bid. If the RFP specified that warranty information was to be provided and it wasn't there, then there's a material question of fact whether ASC's bid was responsive or not, and that almost requires a hearing at some time in the future. If you're a bidder, you've got to double and triple check bids to make absolutely sure every single required element is present.

But if the requirement isn't there, move for a summary judgment against Federal and sanctions for perpetrating a fraud on the Court.
