I think that would be the case. The town is trying to accomplish 360 coverage from that spot. My community had the kind of the same set up with 2 sirens (model 2 type) mounted on oppisite legs of a large water tower just for uniform coverage of the area. Eventually those sirens were replaced by a pole mounted 2001.

I've never seen a siren on a water tower before, let alone two. That's a pretty neat find. :)

Not to resurrect anything too ancient here, but the other day I drove from northern MN to CO...and I passed thru Milaca. There are indeed 3 Screamers on the water tower! Didn't see any other sirens in that town.

Didn't see anything overly unique or interesting on this route...mainly 2001s and a minute number of ACA products (Screamers & an Allertor).
