A situation report is bascially a "silent" test. The computer controller on the pole checks it's internal circuits as well as measuring the amount of resistance (Ohms) that the motor has. The Computer is programmed with a target range for Ohm's (Ex. 1,000 - 1,200 Ohms). If the Amount is lower, it could indicate a that the insultation around the field windings is melting. Higher amount of resistance could indicate that the wiring itself is about to burn up.loudmouth wrote:situation-report system? dose that mean the siren tells like temps of parts and which way its pointing ? or just if its working or not?
