I do agree. The low tone sirens such as STL10s, Cyclones, T-135s, Model 7 low tones, and most Sentrys, have a much better sound carrying capacity than a high-tone. I prefer T-128s (or Flowerfaces as I call them) over the vehicle-siren-sounding, 2001SRN.

Is the 2001 UL Listed? i know the T-128 is but i am not sure about the 2001. It just seems to me that the T-128 is just an over all better siren than the 2001, and the WPS-4004. i am suprised i dont see much more of them around!

A situation report is bascially a "silent" test. The computer controller on the pole checks it's internal circuits as well as measuring the amount of resistance (Ohms) that the motor has. The Computer is programmed with a target range for Ohm's (Ex. 1,000 - 1,200 Ohms). If the Amount is lower, it could indicate a that the insultation around the field windings is melting. Higher amount of resistance could indicate that the wiring itself is about to burn up.

With these tests in mind, the controller then sends back the results to the operator who then can do as he pleases with the info (possibly logs it in on a notebook or computer)

Yes which was a awesome video, but what i am looking for is like a amatuer video of a T-128 blasting during an actual Tornado Warning. i cant seem to find any on YouTube.

Yeah, that's the video I meant. Sorry, maybe I went a bit too far with my statement that there was a tornado warning, I must have over-estimated the clouds before.
