Glad to hear that some cities are going for the good stuff. It is rare, but good in its superficial aspect.

Hey I live in Montgomery, Al and I have spoke to the Ema Director here and she said since they have upgraded their siren system to all Whelens, they were an all Tbolt and Tbeam system and she said they are selling them to other towns. If you want the contact info for her just send me a private message and i will be glad to give it to you!

Brokenhearted.

The Montgomery EMA director kindly e-mailed that they gave all their sirens to other counties and they have nothing to sell.

But thank you, Enigma.

That woman is such a liar! We still have T-bolts and T-beams up on poles rotting( and that has been for the past 8 years since we got the Whelens). I do apologize, but she is an idiot and we really need to get a new EMA director! I just hate seeing those sirens sitting there not doing anything when they could be put to goood use. I am going going to talk to a couple more people for you.

Thanks Enigma.

Yes. They should not be allowed to rot.

Maybe you can talk to some people and get one of those for yourself!
Go for it!

Maybe she does not know about those other sirens.
Otherwise, I cannot understand her e-mail.
Her first reply indicated that she thought I believed that they sold new sirens.
She suggested I contact a siren manufacturer.

Hmmm like i said she is an Amoeba and this county has had many problems with her! Because i sent an email to the effect of asking her what are you doing with the older mechanical sirens that are still up on poles and rooftops just sitting there. She replied to me and said that they sell them to other towns. I have counted at least 30 sirens sitting on poles now for the last 8 years not doing anything. I will work on her for you though!
