Snow-Plow Siren?

I found this video interesting. It has Whelen 2740s, 50s, and 60s as well as a few 2804s, 05s, and 06s doing hi-lo.

Appearently the City of Dearborn, MI uses the hi-lo signal on the sirens to signal residents that they need to move their car out of the street for snowplows. They still use the whoop* signal for tornado warnings and such too. Here's the article on it.

That sounds very erie! And odd..that they use the sirens for that...during snow fall when we have a "Snow Emergency" Everyone is supposed to not park on main streets or the main streets of neighborhoods but we dont sound the sirens!

That would make for a fun dream. Gentle danger. Anyway, the hi-lo signal sounds rather strange.

Media forecasts and snow is not enough to tell people to remove vehicles from the streets?

Nope some towns near me have crapy littel blue strobe lights that blink and are placed about every 5 miles to warn people to not park on the street....... kinda lamo.



any ways thats how a nuclear winter would be like ..... now thats scary to think about...

Well, maybe it makes the big falling snow flakes look pretty.
I used to enjoy our RED, WHITE and BLUE light bar lights reflecting on heavy snows. They converged and created other colors.
