is a 3t22 rotor the same as the 2t22? I've never gotten to see either
Sterling M-5, Sterling Mechanical Siren Timer, Federal Electric Co. Type B, Federal C3 1/2, Secomak VS1, Federal Type A (Coded & Standard), AF Timer, various other sirens \ controls

My understanding is that the only difference between a 3T22 and a 2T22 are the presence or lack of solenoids.

No. That siren could fit in the palm of your hand. I meant the last group of photos of the siren on the ground behind the fire station.

yes. the 3T22 is a 2T22 with the dampers/solenoids which lets it do the hi-lo signal.

Ok, that's the one I was talking about. I didn't think it could be 15"!

The coolest thing is in the very first picture of the fire hall with the bell tower, diaphone and siren. One of the original public outdoor warning devises is there, a bell striker. This town must have had a Gamewell box system. The bell striker would bang out the box number and alert the vollies. The diaphone replaced the bell striker. I would bark out the box number. There is a lot of public alarm history in that tower.
