Hz/number of portsx60.
So, 765/5x60=9180.

I did not know where 765, a flat G-natural, came from.

Is 9180 an unusual motor rpm?

The motor is a universal motor, the pitch is adjustable. I just opened up Audacity, and matched the pitch.
And yes, 9180RPM is extremely high for a thunderbolt.
