My favorite part of that New Whiteland video is around the 2:47 mark. "Looks like power flashes ... *BOOM!*"

Might need to have some of you help me with this, I've posted video before but usually from my home so I can always hear two different siren types. I was mobile for this one and about one mile west of my house, so it's likely the same sirens but one is a little more dominant than the other. Tulsa uses all Whelens but I think the dominant one here is a 29xx? Usually from my home you can hear the 29xx and a dual tone.

Last night, from away from home:

Those Fostoria videos are great with the railroad commentary. However, that second siren sounds like a 2001, not a Whelen.

Yes you are correct, Fostoria does not have any Whelens. The 2001 heard is the roundback DC atop what appears to be a water tank shaped like a castle, at the water treatment plant on Fremont Street. Judging by the location of the camera, the Thunderbolt heard is likely the 1000ATSB (SB=Series B) at Field Elementary at West 6th & Wood Streets, southeast of the video's POV.

I believe the 2001 is gone now... or at least gone from this position. It wasn't there this January.

That's an old 2001, it looks kind of like a scaled down 500.

Here are my two recordings from the other night. There were more Tornado warnings the other night across Indiana than I've ever seen. They are both unedited so please excuse my talking and txt message alert sounds, I recorded this on my droid.
