Straight cones are much easier to produce than exponential cones.
True, but with some practice and a metal spinning lathe you can make a wooden form and spin some exponential horns out of aluminum or stainless steel.

Too difficult for me.
I suppose once a form is made, I could make fiberglass exponential horns.
I bet exponential horns, one from each stator port, would be more efficient than the two curved disks forming an exponential opening.

I hope to take dB measurements of the 2t22 without and then with it's cones.

The Toshiba San Onfree sirens have been taken down. Last October actually. They replaced them with whelen WPS2907 sirens. This applies for Dana point any way. Although my dad tells me of a customer who has a WPS2907 by her house that is powered by a diesel generator! I?d like to see this.
