It happens to the best of us. No worries.

I've seen Storm Sirens Inc. bid on a few systems and it's always been for a Sentry Siren brand siren.

In one of the articles it mentions that they are updating 4 of the sirens. Does this mean that they already have a few 7V8-Bs in their system?

I know they've recently been installing new 10Vs within the past couple years, but I don't know about any 7V8Bs. If those are the ones they're mentioning upgrading, I don't know of any way that one could possibly upgrade a 10V to any kind of battery backup without replacing the entire unit.

From Ready Woodward's Twitter account...three of the new sirens have arrived and been installed. This picture is from April 27. Updated in early May says 16 sirens awaiting installation.

You'll have to copy and paste the link.

That 2t22 looks like it fell onto soft rainsoaked terra firma it's a very resilient siren and I think could be kicked back into play. Just replace the ones that took the brunt of the impact...

Impressive that they went with Sentry sirens. Those things always have captured a special place to me while out storm chasing. They produce quite the ominous sound next to the Thunderbolts in central Kansas.

Model2 and I was just in Woodward and seen Sentrys everywhere. I think I seen two 10v's and a 15v2t look-a-like. They still have their old sirens up as well.

Here's a map of Woodward's old system. They had a mix of Thunderbolts, 2T22s, an STH-10, and a couple 10V's.

News quoted city officials saying Woodward had 20 old sirens and now 23 new sirens. I was just in Woodward and saw sirens everywhere. If that red dot is the STH-10 we saw other STH-10's in the city.
