Poor mans coding siren.
I might have it backwards, I think Federal made a vehicle siren that would pulse automatically whenever powered up. It was done by air flow and had no solenoid.
I did not see any pictures on the auction with a direct look into the intake, oh well.
According to that manual, whatever it is has a gearbox. Who knows why or how it works.
At the moment it's a matter of wait until it arrives and I am calling federal asking for info.

Federal won't have any info on it. Believe me, we've all tried and failed.

Has any enthusiast heard of this siren or documented it? Or am I going to be a (hopefully) first here?

Oh, those things. I personally don't like them because they sound weird.

Kalideawolf was officially banned from the forum for some of his actions and what have you. I am still friends with him on Facebook and have talked to him a couple of times, the siren has a short somewhere in either the motor or the wires to the motor. When taken apart it looks like the Model A/L/D sirens that we are all familair with, not sure what exactly might different that it requires a different model letter. Also no coding device was seen on it anywhere. I will try to keep everyone updated as I find out more.
