Get to others up on the hill as well , to bad the 500-T
did not rotate the projector. I bet I would of herd it then.
WAS the Fed. 500t
sounding at 9 PM sharp or several minutes after 9 PM

The noises all started a bit late; about 9:15 IIRC. They had pretty good fireworks, and also the 50-cal anti-aircraft guns... It was LOUD! If you didnt' hear it, it must have been the fact that the peninsula was in the way. It was all on the down slope facing the harbor.
BTW: I have been calling the LA Federal 500's "500-AT" based on somewhere I must have read or heard that model number, but I see that you and others are saying 500-T... Are there two versions, or was I off on this ?
The siren has a faulty gearbox, so it won't rotate... Hope you can make it next year!

Thanks! Actually, the siren was supposed to be in alert mode, but I talked Bart into manually wailing it. He was a bit reluctant to do it that way because of concern that it would put a heavy load and overheat the phase converter.
