I last rember hearing the Model 2 tested in 1987 by 1988 I rember the P-50 going off for tornado warning at Jackson Park. at some point both the 2's and P-50 were being used. The P-50 at cemetery on Appleton Sounded in June of 1986. For test day But the P-50 at Water Plant on 6th street was not there yet so the 2 on Van Norman and 13th Sounded. in 1987 The P-50 on 35th and st Paul Did not go up to the late 90's. and Brown Deer and Oak Creek were not even on the county's system till 2008.

The siren I recorded was a gray model 2. From what I remember seeing most of the city of Milwaukee's model 2s were yellow. They city of West Allis had gray model 2's before they were all removed. One location still has the wood platform it sat on.

The first time I heard the P 50 on 76 and Oklahoma was for a tornado warning issued overnight. It sounded like it was in the bedroom with me.
