What kind of siren is this and what happened to it? 12 port?
Did it pull air into the missing rotor from below and above?
Thank you for your photos.

That is most likely a Decot, as stated in the post above. It is an old siren, and the missing housing isn't really something to get worried about. Probably just rusted and got removed by people or nature. Not sure about the missing rotor.

Hey Modulator Master, I've definitely seen some of those sirens before. I live in Altoona.

What happened to Jackson Twp's Thunderbolt? Last time I was there (probably 3 years ago) they had a Thunderbolt with a walkway around it and a Model 2 mounted on a platform right below it.

It's still there, I had it on another topic but to refresh your memory here it is.

Note it still works, cause last time I saw it, it's head was facing the opposite direction.

That is an Erick Fire Siren without its cover. By the looks of it, it seems to be missing its stator too. The rotor blades are connected to the motor shaft at the center of the rotor instead of the base, and air enters from either end. It is normally a 12-port, single-tone siren that sounds very much like an STH-10, but I doubt this siren can do anything except blow air.

Interesting Daniel.
Hey, I getting better. I surmised 12 ports!
But is that not the stator?
Don't all rotors have fins to fling air to the periphery?
Or do I not see the fins in the poor resolution of this computer?
Thank you,
