Originally, It had a dual toned Siratone controller. It sounded Westminster chimes right before they replaced the boxes. I remember that Menacing, booming dual tone chime from the first note!

I know this is off topic but does the modulator use the same drivers as the Siratone series?
My knowledge excels on the Federal Thunderbolt siren and SiraTone EOWS sirens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Modulators Use Ultravoices. Originally they had MCP's and MC's. Almost all the Siratone in Hawaii where I live have Ultravoices as well as most other electronic sirens in Hawaii to standardize the system but the EOWS originally had Siratone boxes.. Most of the modulators and DSA's have Ultravoices to.

The ES2000 I owned had two 150 watt drivers per horn.

I still question whether they truly are 150W or not. The size, type, and resistance reading are all pretty much the same as the 100W Atlas compression drivers I have, so I'm thinking they're 100W either pushed to 150W each by the amplifier, or they're fibbing the output ratings of those drivers.

that still doesn't answer my question. Does the modulator use the same drivers as the Siratone series? like the wattage and what not.

I don't believe so, now let's get back on topic.

No its fine we do need to get back on topic though. So lets begin shall we. To me the speakers do look like a Siratone's but in not positive about that. I'm not a wiz with electromechanical sirens.

I don't think that is a siren. It would be unnecessary.
echo1030 wrote:The EOWS 1212 is Dual toned but it runs on a Ultravoice so the Westminster chime is single toned. Plus almost all the drivers are blown so it cant even be heard from 100 meters.

Seems pointless to put a new controller on something like that.

To my understanding yes. They are 100W Atlas compression drivers.
