Hi,
That sucks about deleting the pictures. I've heard of something similar over here when a friend was taking photos inside an airport for her art class and they made her delete them all.

Have you used your camera much since? You should be able to undelete the images no problem if you haven't used it since and there's still a chance you'll get some back if you haven't used it much. Sandisk supply some with their memory cards and there's plenty of other software out there.

Was the video camera digital too? Tapes or flash card?

Obviously, it must have been a "matter of national security". </sarcasm>

You could do that, and you can even have one of the prison guards supervise you, so your camera lens doesn't deviate from the siren head.

If it's a simple delete and you do not perform write actions to the card again, it's easilly recoverable. Bad Copy Pro does the job nicely :P

I agree, most of you think dat sirens are for storms & fires stunamies <-0-I just murderlized dat word  but most sirens we bought with homeland secerity money, & they have to obey da rulz ....ok I cant spell, when I asked for the locations of Watertowns EOWS-612 sirens I had to go through a lot of explanations, + a background check before I got the all clear. you may think dat there just throwing around there power but an attack could happen again, in this day & age the future is just uncertain.

so just ask before you vid or photograph a siren thats on banks or jails or other federal buildings, if they say no then go. its dat simple

ok ders my two cents

I really hope you don't talk like that in real life. Unless, of course, you're still in pampers.

Not to jump on the same bandwagon, but give me a break. That post reads like the lyrics of a rap song. What has happened to the public schools in this country? By the way, there are NO PLURAL words in English that end with a "z."
