Don't forget the Wilder Elementary has an A1 Blower on it.

Hey folks.

Yup- 3 down so far. I have an email out with questions but so far no response. Here is our system today:

FS Thunderbolt (34 total standing, 33 active)
FS 3T22 (19 total confirmed and active)
FS 2001 (66 total confirmed and active)
FS Modulator (6 total confirmed and active)
Whelen (1 total confirmed and active)

So yeah, we have 33 bolts left, but I can't tell you the pain I felt when I rolled up to Crosby and saw that 2001. Remember, Crosby was a completely-restored Thunderbolt put up in mid-to-late 2012 after the other bolt was knocked down. The replacement sounded awesome. I still get chills when I watch my video of it. I know I haven't added any more videos lately (new job sucking my life away), but I have 5-6 more tbolt videos to put up. Now that I realize I am racing against the EMA, I absolutely cannot miss a single test. I recorded Roosevelt-Perry's low-mounted bolt on Tuesday. I should have that up this weekend. Now, as it stands, there are only 10 Thunderbolts standing in this city that I have not personally heard live yet. Over the years I have visited twenty four Thunderbolts in Louisville on test day. Wow. I didn't know I had been to that many! It all started withthis shoddy cell phone video at Eastern High School. But after that, I was hooked. The rest, they say...

Sorry for the reminiscing. Yeah- I am sad. I am not aware of many other places with 30+ Thunderbolts still standing strong. On Tuesday, when I heard that bolt roar to life, it was the first time since JULY I had heard one in person, and I tell you it was like a hit of some awesome drug. It sounded amazing. It made me smile. It had been too long. But as time moves on, we have to realize that unless we are fortunate enough to own one of these, the sound of a live Thunderbolt will soon become a memory.

I am going to put my backlog of Thunderbolt videos on my page soon. Right now I am working 6 days per week so it's all about the time it takes. I will be keeping an eye on current Thunderbolt's, and if I notice anymore come down, I will reflect the change on my map.

Thank you.
